Mohammad Asif took drugs unintentionaly ?

Asif took drugs ? or Not !

In my life I have worked with people in various stages of drug addiction.Also myself as a young man dealt with an unhealthy addiction to many drugs.So im confident to know a person,who shows signs of using or being an abuser of drugs.

In the case of the great young Pakistani quick in Mohammad Asif. When he got done for drugs from Steroids to being in possession of a Drug of Dependance.It just didn’t wash with me.Even in 08, when he got banned for using drugs and he was vehement in protesting his innocent.Well call me a fool……….but I believed him…………

Maybe it was the fact that I was blinded by the love I had for a bowler that had such skill and beauty and I saw as being capable of redressing the balance between bat dominating over ball.Though after I did some seeking myself and talked with a few Indians and Pakistani’s,who emanate from Punjab,from where Asif comes from my doubts on his guilt became stronger.I asked them about the practices and rituals in this Region. For I know that there are a lot of tribal areas, that adhere to their own practices of Medicine and Healing.For which I have later found out that it is known as Hikmat (Unani Healing)

For the person shaking their head thinking what the………

This basically is a ritual of trust between a tribal Elder and another member of the tribe based on trust between the two.It has many levels from spiritual,mental,psychological and physical.The desire is to cleanse the patient and return the balance to their being.

Now this is all well and good,but then in regards to Mohammad Asif. It gets very interesting, when it becomes known that illicit drugs such as Marijuana and even Cocaine can be used in these rituals.To calm and cleanse the patients

I say this for the patient is unwavering in their trust of their Elder,never questioning a practice performed on them or a drug administered.

So conceivably, Asif could have been administered a Drug on the International Cricket Councils banned list without knowledge.Which would back up his claims of not knowing that he used the drugs he got accused of taking.

I know people on reading this might be thinking I might be indulging in Drugs as I tap on my keyboard.Though it isn’t as crazy or unbelievable as it seems,is it?
