Ever since his debut in 2004, Dhoni has mesmerised us with his skills with the bat. He scored his first couple of centuries batting at no. 3 in the batting line-up against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. However, he moved down to no. 7 as a role of a finisher and achieved a lot of success there as well.

To this date, he has scored two centuries batting at no. 7 in the line-up against Pakistan and Africa XI both at Chepauk in Chennai.

Despite scoring only two centuries batting lower down the order, he holds the record of scoring the most number of centuries batting at that position. However, there are few batsmen such as Moeen Ali who could go on to break their record in the future.
