Arshdeep Singh drops hilarious comment on fellow pacer’s post ahead of ENG vs IND 2025 Tests [In Pictures]

Team India's left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh recently wrote a funny comment on seamer Prasidh Krishna's Instagram post. The Indian contingent has reached England ahead of the upcoming five-match Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy Test series.

Ahead of the series opener, Prasidh shared a picture of him enjoying a beverage at a cafe. Arshdeep reacted to his teammate's social media post by asking him to bring a smoothie on his way back to the hotel.

Arshdeep Singh was last seen in action during the recently concluded IPL 2025. With 21 wickets across 17 games, he was the leading wicket-taker for Punjab Kings (PBKS).

The Punjab-based side finished as the runners-up of the edition. They suffered a heartbreaking six-run loss to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the final.

It is worth mentioning that Arshdeep earned his maiden Test call-up as he was picked in the squad for the England tour. The opening contest of the series is set to be played at Headingley, Leeds, from June 20 to 24.

"Siraj bhai ka naya naam" - Arshdeep Singh reveals Mohammed Siraj's new nickname ahead of ENG vs IND 2025 Tests

The Shubman Gill-led Indian side have commenced their preparation for the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Arshdeep Singh recently shared a clip on Instagram, where he mentioned that he had just finished a practice session with teammate Mohammed Siraj.

The 26-year-old made a hilarious revelation of Siraj's new nickname. He said:

"Kuch der practice karke haate hai, mai aur Green Forest. Siraj bhai ka naya naam Green Forest. (Have just finished practice, Green Forest and I. Siraj's new name is Green Forest)."

Ahead of the five-match Test series against England, India will feature in a warm-up match. The game will be played at Kent County Cricket Ground, Beckenham, from June 13 to 16.
