"Do you ever get anyone out?" - Television presenter takes cheeky dig at Australian star ahead of AUS vs SA WTC Final 2025 [Watch]

Renowned English television presenter Jeremy Clarkson couldn't help but take a cheeky dig at Australia captain Pat Cummins ahead of the much-awaited World Test Championship (WTC) final. Australia will square up against South Africa at Lord's, beginning June 11.

In a video shared on Instagram by Prime Video, Clarkson cheekily asked Cummins if he ever got anyone out when he was bowling at television personality Kaleb Cooper.

Ahead of the WTC final, Cummins took the opportunity to visit Clarkson’s famous farm in Chipping Norton. He engaged in a light-hearted game of cricket as the Aussie skipper bowled at Cooper and Charlie Ireland, yet another TV personality.

Cummins hilariously cleaned up Cooper after Clarkson took a dig at him, provoking more laughs among the trio.

Meanwhile, Cummins has the chance to win a second consecutive WTC final for Australia and his third ICC event as captain. The New South Welshman had ushered the Baggy Greens to WTC glory two years ago when they beat India by 209 runs at The Oval to capture the mace.

The Aussies will be up against a tough South African side, with the latter warming up for the clash with a practice match against Zimbabwe in Arundel. South Africa finished the 2023-25 WTC cycle at the top of the table with series wins over the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Proteas' only defeat came against New Zealand, and the home leg against India resulted in a draw.

Australia, meanwhile, registered series wins over India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The Aussies' away series against England and home leg against the West Indies resulted in a draw. Before Cummins and Co. won the WTC final, New Zealand did it in 2021 by beating India in Southampton.
