Former India head coach Ravi Shastri hailed MS Dhoni after the latter was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame on Monday, June 9. The 63-year-old talked about Dhoni's personality, stating that he stayed the same in both success and defeat.
Dhoni was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame on Monday along with other cricketing greats like Matthew Hayden, Graeme Smith.
"He gets out for the zero he's the same, he wins the World Cup he's the same, he gets a hundred he's the same, 200 the same. There is absolutely no difference," Shastri said about Dhoni at the Hall of Fame ceremony on Monday.
Dhoni represented India for nearly 15 years between 2004 and 2019 and is the only captain to have won all three white-ball trophies. He led India to the T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup win in 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013. He was also the captain when India became the number-one ranked Test team for the first time in 2009.
