Max O'Dowd, who hit 49 runs off 67 balls, partnered with Vikramjit Singh for a crucial 103-run stand for the third wicket. Vikramjit was eventually run out after scoring 59 off 83 balls, including four boundaries.
Wesley Barresi was dismissed after scoring six off 22, but captain Scott Edwards stepped up with an impressive 65 runs off 55 balls, hitting six fours. Aaron Jones contributed 47 off 70 deliveries, and Milind Kumar played a notable innings of 69 off 79 balls. However, their efforts were insufficient as the Netherlands' bowlers took control, bowling the USA out for 218 in 49.5 overs.
