Pondicherry Premier League 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Villianur Mohit Kings vs White Town Giants (Updated) ft. Ajay Rohera & Bharat Sharma

The Pondicherry Premier League 2024 season continued on Sunday, August 11, with two matches at the Cricket Association Pondicherry Siechem Ground. In the first match of the day, Mahe Megalo Strikers thrashed Ossudu Accord Warriors by nine wickets and with nine balls to spare.

Chasing 174, Mahe Megalo Strikers opener Ajay Rohera blasted eight boundaries and six sixes in his unbeaten 102-run knock off just 58 balls. Earlier in the match, Mahe Megalo fast bowler Thivagar Gopal bagged figures of 3/15 from two overs.

Later in the evening, White Town Giants posted 151/7 from 20 overs after being asked to bat first. Akash Kargave scored a steady 41 before Nadeem Khan’s 21-ball 43* turbo-charged their innings at the death. For the Villianur Mohit Kings, Samar Khan and Damodaran Rohit collectively bowled six overs at the expense of just 26 runs with four wickets.

Defending 152, White Town Giants bowlers Bharat Sharma (4/16), Gaurav Yadav (2/15), and Santha Moorthy (2/28) skittled Villianur Mohit Kings for just 99 to secure a 52-run win.

Ajay Rohera’s unbeaten 102 catapulted him to the top of the run-scoring charts of the Pondicherry Premier League 2024 with 214 runs, displacing Ameer Zeeshan (165 runs) to the second spot.

Akash Anand Kargave and J Karthikeyan, with 137 runs each, take the third and fourth positions, respectively, and they are followed by K Sai Satwik (117 runs) and Sai Hariram K (110 runs) for the subsequent two slots.

Bhanu Anand (96 runs), Nadeem Khan (93 runs), Sidak Gurvinder Singh (89 runs), and Ragavan Ramamoorthy (83 runs) round up the rest of the top 10 batting charts.
