Villianur Mohit Kings held off Karaikal Kniights’ rampage to secure a one-run win in a high-scoring thriller. Meanwhile, Ossudu Accord Warriors thumped Yanam Royals by 12 runs later in the evening.
Regardless of the two outcomes, Mahe Megalo Strikers remains at the top of the Pondicherry Premier League 2024 points table. They have six wins from seven matches at a formidable NRR of 1.345. They are followed by White Town Giants at number two, having accumulated 10 points courtesy of five wins.
Villianur Mohit Kings take the third spot on the six-team ladder with eight points from eight games. Ossudu Accord Warriors’ win over Yanam Royals extended their tally to seven points to find themselves on the brink of playoffs contention. With a solitary win to their credit, Karaikal Knights and Yanam Royals take the fifth and sixth positions respectively on the table.
