The Saurashtra Pro T20 League 2025 season, also the inaugural edition of the tournament, began on Saturday, June 7, and will continue till June 20. All 21 matches of the competition will be played at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot.
A total of five teams are participating in the inaugural season, namely Aryan Sorath Lions, Zalawad Strikers, Dita Gohilwad Titans, Anmol Kings Halar, and JMD Kutch Riders.
Indian fast bowler and domestic veteran Jaydev Unadkat, set to represent Anmol Kings Halar, is one of the star attractions who will light up the league. Other prominent players, such as Sheldon Jackson and Harvik Desai, will serve as captains of the Zalawad Strikers and Gohilwad Titans franchises, respectively.

The five teams will face each other twice in a double round-robin format. The top two teams at the end of the 20-match opening round will qualify for the final. The tournament is not designed with the semifinals and the playoffs.
Furthermore, barring the league opener and the final, all other matches will be staged as double-headers in Rajkot. The first match of the day will start at 3:00 PM IST, while the evening game will commence from 7:30 PM IST onwards. The opening match of the season between Anmol Kings Halar and Aryan Sorath Lions, however, started at 5:00 PM IST on Saturday.
The tournament is organized by the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA). Board President Jaydev Shah confirmed the inauguration of the league last week in the presence of several office bearers. Shah described the Saurashtra Pro T20 League as a “landmark initiative,” and added that the tournament will “promote and develop the game at a professional level” within Saurashtra.
