Central Castries prevail in Super Over drama against Babonneau Leatherbacks

Mon Repos Stars won the toss against Soufriere Sulphur and decided to bowl first. The Sulphur scored 108 runs for the loss of two wickets in 10 overs. Dwight Thomas was the highest scorer, scoring 48 runs off 24 deliveries. Dichege Henry and Jamal Lesmond took one wicket each for the Repos Stars.

Jason Simon and Rohan Lesmond stitched together a 93-run partnership for the first wicket. They helped the Repos Stars chase down the target in eight overs with eight wickets in hand. Rohan won the Player of the Match award for smashing 52 runs off 24 deliveries.

Gros Islet Cannon Blasters, meanwhile, decided to bat first against Babonneau Leatherbacks. Jard Goodman was the highest scorer for the Cannon Blasters with 39 runs off 26 deliveries.
