Team India's Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma recently landed in Australia for the ongoing 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) Test series. The ace opening batter was unavailable for the opening encounter due to paternity leave.

Before leaving for Australia, Sharma was spotted driving his blue-colored Lamborghini Urus in Mumbai. A fan shared a video on Instagram, where the veteran cricketer could be seen sitting in the driver's seat of the luxury SUV.

You can watch the clip below:

It is worth mentioning that Sharma's Lamborghini Urus has a special '0264' number, dedicated to his record-breaking 264-run knock against Sri Lanka. The knock came in 2014 and is the highest-ever individual score in the format.

Sharma and his wife Ritika Sajdeh recently became parents for the second time. They were blessed with a baby boy on November 15, 2024.

"India have an option number two for Rohit Sharma" - Sanjay Manjrekar feels Indian skipper should consider batting in the middle-order in BGT 2024-25

India clinched a comprehensive 295-run victory in the Test series opener against Australia in Perth. Opening batters Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul looked in fine form in the second innings, scoring 161 and 77, respectively.

With Sharma joining the team ahead of the second Test, it is expected that Rahul will have to give up his opening sport. Sanjay Manjrekar, however, opined that Sharma should offer to bat down the order.

He also pointed out that Sharma started his Test career at No. 6 and even has two centuries to his name at that position. Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, the cricketer-turned-commentator said:

"Rohit could suggest, with the kind that form that he has, 'I don't need to open'. If you can drop Ashwin and Jadeja and pick Washington Sundar on current reality, that is an option. It will be tough to do and Rohit Sharma will himself have to decide because there's also that history of Rohit Sharma getting two hundreds in his first two Test matches batting at No. 6.
"Rohit Sharma, with the new ball, pink ball Test match - it is going to be tough, but I guess India will have to go to the captain to bat him in his traditional position. But now, India have an option number two for Rohit Sharma . And KL Rahul, whether he bats at number three or bats at number five, we just have an in-form confident batter in the batting line-up."

The second Test of the five-match series between India and Australia will be a pink-ball Test. The match will be played in Adelaide, beginning December 6.
