India A bowler Prasidh Krishna delivered a stunning performance on Day 2 of the second unofficial Test against Australia A, claiming four wickets on Friday, November 8. The match is being held at Melbourne Cricket Ground.
The right-arm pacer claimed his first wicket of the match by dismissing Oliver Davies for 13 in the 24th over. Davies attempted to hit the ball out of the ground, but it went straight up in the air, and Mukesh Kumar took a solid catch at long-on. Krishna then removed Jimmy Peirson (30) to pick up his second wicket.
The 28-year-old made a crucial breakthrough by getting the wicket of set batter Marcus Harris (74) in the 54th over of the Australia A innings. On the very next delivery, he dismissed Scott Boland, who hit the ball straight into the hands of first slip. Prasidh Krishna finished with impressive figures of four for 50 in 16 overs.

Australia A were bowled out for 223 in 62.1 overs, with opener Harris being the top scorer, contributing 74 runs off 138 balls. For India A, Prasidh claimed four wickets, while Mukesh took three. Khaleel Ahmed also added two wickets to the tally.
Earlier in the match, India A were dismissed for 161, with Dhruv Jurel standing out as the top performer, scoring 80 runs off 186 balls. Michael Neser was the pick of the bowlers for Australia A, taking four wickets.
India A lose half of their side for 56 in their second innings
The visitors had a poor start to their second innings, losing openers Abhimanyu Easwaran (17) and KL Rahul (10) cheaply. Sai Sudharsan (3), skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad (11), and Devdutt Padikkal (1) also failed to make an impact.
Dhruv Jurel, who scored a half-century in the first innings, looked solid at the crease. At stumps on Day 2, India A were 73 for five after 31 overs, leading by 11 runs, with Jurel (19) and Nitish Reddy (9) at the crease.
