Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are happening across India right now, and Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar joined a celebration at Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde's residence. A video of Tendulkar attending the Ganesh Puja celebrations was shared by news agency ANI on their official X profile.
The legendary batter attended the event in traditional Indian attire. He bowed down to the idol and offered flowers as well. After his prayers, Tendulkar met the people at Eknath Shinde's residence.

The video posted by the news agency has received 12,800 views on X. More than 250 users have liked the video, while a fan in the comments hailed Maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde for inviting the cricket legend to his residence for the Ganesh Puja.
Sachin Tendulkar seemed delighted to be present for the grand occasion. He sported a big smile as he sought god's blessings and met everyone around him at the chief minister's residence.

Sachin Tendulkar retired from all formats of international cricket and IPL in 2013 but has remained active in exhibition matches. Over the last few years, Sachin has participated in the Road Safety World Series, the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL), and the One World One Family Cup.
He played in the ISPL and One World One Family Cup earlier this year. The Road Safety World Series, meanwhile, last took place in October 2022.
There has been no update on the next edition of the tournament featuring legendary cricketers. It will be interesting to see if Sachin Tendulkar steps on the cricket field again.
