Brisbane Heat - Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami, after sharpening his death bowling skills, has drastically improved in the limited-overs formats. He can hurry the batsmen with his extra pace while keeping a very tight line and length.

The Brisbane Heat did not have this kind of bowler in their 2018-19 BBL campaign. Their bowling let them down on many occasions, which is why they were languishing in the bottom half of the table throughout the season.

Moreover, the extra bounce at The Gabba would have given a robust, tearaway quick like Shami a dream deck to bowl on.

Hobart Hurricanes - Kuldeep Yadav

The men in purple were an unstoppable force throughout the league stages of the BBL 2018-19. This team did not particularly have any weakness, but lacked a world-class spinner. Kuldeep Yadav would have been a handy pick for the men from Hobart.

Kuldeep is a traditional leg-spinner who relies on flight and turn off the surface. He has an impeccable googly up his sleeve which he unleashes from time to time.

All in all, purple would have looked best on Kuldeep in the BBL.
