Rohit became the highest run scorer for India when he was on the score of 11*. He now has 2,203 runs in the 20-over format 78 innings, with 15 fifties and 4 hundreds.

Rohit not only became the highest run scorer for India, but also the second highest run scorer globally, eclipsing Brendon McCullum, Virat Kohli and Shoaib Malik in the process.

Rohit has etched his name in the realms of history by becoming the first batsman to notch four centuries in the shortest format of the game. He smashed 74 of his runs via boundaries, hitting 8 fours and 7 sixes in the process.
