Virat seems to relish the leadership duties, and captaincy has taken his game to another level. Kohli tumbled the record of the most hundreds by a captain in a calendar year, scoring 11 centuries in 2017, beating the record of 9 hundreds apiece held by Ricky Ponting and Graeme Smith.
