Sachin Tendulkar and Shahrukh Khan are among 100 most obsessed players on web
According to a research conducted by ‘Time Magazine’, Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan are among 100 most 'obsessed-over' people on web.
Former US President George Bush is at the top of the list with 65.6 points followed by his successor Barack Obama with 45.3 points. Tendulkar bagged 68th place with 23.98 points, while Indian heartthrob Shahrukh is at 99th place with 22.07 points.
The rankings were compiled by collecting data about global leaders and celebrities online and from their Wikipedia pages. Factors like number of links to their Wikipedia pages, number of external links, number of revisions to the page, number of categories the person is in, number of unique and anonymous edits and number of searches were considered for calculating the points. The rankings were compiled drawing parallels from the magazine’s annual 100 most influential people in the world list.
This list also includes a number of prominent celebrities like Madonna and Beyonce, at third and fourth spot respectively. Other notable names who find a place in the list are Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic (61), Pope Francis (70), former F1 star Michael Schumacher (77), talk-show host Oprah Winfrey (95) and Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif (98).
