The BCCI have announced the schedule for India’s tour of Bangladesh which is set to happen next month. The tour will commence on June 10 with a one-off Test at Fatullah.

The Test match will be followed by three ODIs, all of which will be played at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Whether India will be playing any tour matches, is yet to be known.

This will be the first time that the two subcontinental teams will face off against each other after their controversial encounter at the ICC Cricket World Cup in the quarter-finals. The Bangladesh cricketers are expected to be fired up for the series.

India and Bangladesh have played in 8 Tests so far, with the former winning 7 of those matches and one ending in a draw. The last time the two sides faced off in a Test was way back in January 2010, when India defeated Bangladesh by 10 wickets at Dhaka to register a 2-0 series victory.

India last toured their neighbours last June, when they registered a 2-0 ODI series win.
