4th Momentum ODI: South Africa v India

There were two rain delays in Saturday's match, one in each innings, but the first one proved to be fatal for Virat Kohli's men.

The visitors were well set for a huge total despite losing Rohit Sharma early as Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan were on song with their third successive big partnership.

The duo put on an unbeaten 93 in chasing down a small target in the 2nd ODI at Centurion and added 140 in setting up a win in the 3rd game at Cape Town.

After Dhawan and Kohli's departure, India were still in control with a score of 206/3 in 35.3 overs, but the rain and lightning interruption broke the flow and the visitors could eventually manage 289/7 in 50 overs.

There was another interruption when South Africa came out to bat and the match was then reduced to 28 overs and hosts' target was revised to 202, which they reached with 15 balls to spare.
