Krunal Pandya entered the fray of things nearly two years ago and has been racking out exceptional performances in every domestic and IPL season. He received a chance to represent India in the T20I series against the Windies and he grabbed the opportunity with both hands.
He has shown his big hitting abilities in the first T20I and demonstrated his economical bowling throughout the series. Krunal has an uncanny ability to pick up wickets in the middle overs, which puts him on the same ground as the wrist spinners.
His batting abilities have never been questioned and he has been consistent in finishing off the innings with a bang which is evident from his exceptional strike rate of 148 in T20s and a good average of 27. He is the frontline option for the spin bowling all-rounder slot.
