#2 Kumar Sangakkara

Kumar Chokshanda Sangakkara, the former Sri Lankan cricketer and captain currently appears as a commentator for various cricket matches. He was a left-handed wicket-keeper batsman.

Sangakkara is the only player in Sri Lanka to reach 14,000 runs in ODI format. He made his Test debut in 2000 against South Africa and he also holds the record to have scored above 150 runs in four consecutive test matches. He took part in different leagues across the world. In Srilanka Premier League (SPL), he played for Kandurata Warriors as captain.

In 2000, Sangakkara made his ODI debut against Pakistan. He is the only batsman to have scored four consecutive centuries in the 2015 ICC World Cup and he is the second best in the world when it comes to most number of dismissals effected as wicketkeeper in World cup after Adam Gilchrist. Sangakkara leads the ODI wicketkeeping charts with the most number of dismissals to his name.
