#1 Adam Gilchrist

Adam Craig Gilchrist, the former Australian cricketer and captain is widely remembered for his flawless glovework and his destructive brutality with the bat as an opener for Australia.

He was an aggressive left-handed batsman and he is widely considered as one of the best wicketkeepers in the history of cricket. In Test cricket, he made his debut in 1999 against Pakistan and he is also the fourth Australian to score the fastest Test century in just 57 deliveries against England. Gilchrist is the second best to have affected most Test dismissals as a wicketkeeper.

He made his ODI debut in 1996 against South Africa. He has the second most ODI hundreds as a wicketkeeper and once he had a wicketkeeping record of most ODI dismissals.

In World Cup, he is the first wicketkeeper to reach 50+ dismissals. Overall, Gilchrist was widely praised due to his fantastic glovework and true sportsmanship.
