TNPL 2019, SMP vs RTW Preview: Siechem Madurai Panthers seek a turnaround in fortunes against Ruby Trichy Warriors

Natham, July 30: Siechem Madurai Panthers have to get their act right quickly to bid for a playoff spot in the 4th Sankar Cement Tamil Nadu Twenty20 Premier League (TNPL). The defending champions will have to make their move at the NPR College Ground, Natham, Dindigul on Wednesday when they take on the cellar team, Ruby Trichy Warriors.

SMP hold a slight edge over their opponents as they have one victory from three matches while RTW have lost all three.

RTW still seeking their first victory will be boosted by the return of their international star Murali Vijay. The India player almost scripted a win in their first match against iDream Karaikudi Kaalai scoring 81 runs but that game ended in a tie and the opponents scraped through in the Super Over.

Vijay’s return and SMP itching for a win, will make for an interesting battle.
