#3 Jacques Kallis, South Africa

India v South Africa: Group B - 2011 ICC World Cup
India v South Africa: Group B - 2011 ICC World Cup

Arguably the best all round cricketer of our generation, Jacques Kallis has been hailed by many as the greatest ever cricketer. He is the only cricketer to have scored more than 10000 runs and taken over 250 wickets in both Tests and One Day Internationals.

Jack Kallis has played 5 World Cups for South Africa, scoring 1148 runs and taking 21 wickets. Kallis had a brilliant batting technique that enabled him to excel irrespective of the formats. Unusual for an all-rounder, he batted at no.3 or 4 and had scored runs all around the globe.

Many underestimated his bowling abilities but Kallis was a genuine pace bowler. He can run in all day with good pace and can swing the ball beautifully. He retired with 25,534 internationals runs and 577 wickets, which are insane numbers for any cricketer. Truly a cricketing legend.
