The previous record for the highest individual score was also held by Aaron Finch when he scored 156 off just 63 balls against England way back in 2013.

In this mammoth innings, he smashed 11 fours and 14 sixes. He scored these runs at an astonishing strike rate of 247. It was the first time that a batsman scored in excess of 150 in a T20I match. He scored his hundred off just 47 balls but just kept on going even after that.
