New Zealand had a terrific record at home before India landed on their shores. They lost just two ODI matches since losing to South Africa in 2014-15.After losing the series comprehensively to India in the first three matches, not a lot was expected from the home team, but with their performance in the fourth ODI, they are showing why they have a decent shot in the 2019 World Cup.New Zealand, who made three changes to their playing XI, chose to bowl first after winning the toss. India, on the other hand, made two changes to their winning combination. While Shubman Gill made his debut in place of Virat Kohli, who was rested after the first three ODIs, Khaleel Ahmed came in for Mohammed Shami.New Zealand's opening bowlers, Matt Henry and Trent Boult, tested the Indian openers with swinging deliveries. Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma held the fort for five overs but could not stop the onslaught from Trent Boult after that. While Dhawan was caught napping before the stumps by Boult in the sixth over, Rohit Sharma was out caught and bowled by the searing left-arm seamer in the eighth over.India could not recover after the openers made their way back to the pavilion as they lost the next four batsmen for just two runs. While Colin de Grandhomme took the wickets of Ambati Rayudu and Dinesh Karthik in his very first over, Boult took wickets of debutant Shubman Gill and Kedar Jadhav. After the four-wicket jolt, India's chances of recovery were resting in the hands of Hardik Pandya. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was expected to provide some support to Pandya, but he was bowled by Colin de Grandhomme, who picked up 3 wickets for 26 runs in his spell of 10 overs. With him losing partners, Pandya tried to counter-attack Boult by hitting three fours in his ninth over, but could not persist for long and fell prey to Boult in his final over. At the 20-over mark, when Boult ended his 10-over spell with a five-fer, India were struggling at 55 for 8.It was India's spin twins who then made the biggest partnership of the Indian innings. Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal added 25 runs for the ninth wicket. The partnership helped India get close to a triple digit score before Todd Astle and James Neesham took the wickets of Kuldeep and Khaleel Ahmed. While the figures of New Zealand's best bowler, Trent Boult read 10-4-21-5, Chahal was India's highest run scorer with an unbeaten 18. This is also Chahal's highest total in his ODI career. Due to his efforts, India posted a total of 92, their seventh lowest ODI score, in 30.5 overs. Here's how Twitter reacted as India were bowled out for just 92 in the fourth ODI:1. Indian batting2.
