The wicket-keeper slot has occupied by flamboyant batsman Rishab Pant. His left-handed batting in the middle order provides variety to this batting line-up. We all knew how talented this 20-year lad is and how much he has grown at this young age. He played some memorable knocks in this year IPL including a century against bowling-heavy Sunrisers Hyderabad. His hitting ability at the death makes him the automatic choice of finisher at the lower middle order.

Hardik Pandya easily takes away the no.7 spot of this team. He is one among the best all-rounders in the international cricket now. He is just 24 and already has a couple of years of international cricket experience. His all-round skills make him irreplaceable at the no.7 position. He is neither batting all-rounder nor bowling all-rounder. We can call him a genuine all-rounder, in the mould of Sir Gary Sobers, Andrew Flintoff etc..,
