Video: Glenn Maxwell's bizarre dismissal in the Big Bash League

Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, batting for Melbourne Stars in a Big Bash League (BBL) Twenty20 match against Brisbane Heat, was dismissed in a strange manner today at the Brisbane Cricket Ground.

Chasing 165 to win, the Stars lost opener Cameron White in the fifth ball of the first over, bowled by left-arm fast bowler Ryan Duffield. Maxwell, coming in at No. 3. charged down his first very ball and then, quite inexplicably, opted to offer no shot to the incoming delivery, only to see his stumps rattled.
