Video: Trailer of biopic "Azhar" revealed

With the release of a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, titled “Azhar”, slated to release in May 2016, the anticipation surrounding the movie is slowly building up. The release of the trailer has only enhanced the eagerness of people to relive what was a hugely successful yet controversial career. Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi will play the title role.

Hashmi had extensive cricket training in preparation for the role in a bid to emulate Azharuddin’s languid batting style. Apart from his playing achievements, the movie also covers his faith, his two marriages and his supposed involvement in the match-fixing scandal.
