Rift between Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma?

Is it all just much ado about nothing?

Something, nothing or everything. That is certainly what everyone is wondering after newly-appointed Indian skipper for Asia Cup 2018 Rohit Sharma apparently unfollowed full-time captain Virat Kohli on Twitter and Instagram.

The 31-year-old Rohit wasn't selected in India's Test squad for England but was announced skipper for the Asia Cup as Kohli has been rested but the opener's apparent decision to unfollow Kohli has caused a huge stir among fans on social media.

There are some who are wondering if there is a rift brewing between the two and that was enough for Twitterati to speculate and create quite a story even though it is still unclear as to whether any of this did actually happen.

As usual, this meant that Twitter was abuzz with speculation and while some were ready to dismiss this as much ado about nothing, others weren't so sure.

Rohit Sharma follows Shardul Thakur, Dhawal Kulkarni etc but don't have enough space to follow the Captain of the national team so unfollowed Virat Kohli.
