Ever since he made his international debut in 2016, Hardik Pandya has turned out to be the solution for India's long-standing problem. As he turned 24, plenty of Indian cricket team stars sent their wishes to the all-rounder from Baroda, who has taken international cricket by storm.

Although he has played international cricket for just over 20 months, Pandya has already represented India in all three formats and played 50 matches for his country. His international debut came in the Adelaide T20I against Australia and since then he has played 20 more T20Is, scoring at a strike rate of nearly 130 and picking up 16 wickets as well.

While he made his ODI debut just a few days after his 23rd birthday and it hasn't even been a year since then, he has already played 26 ODIs, the most he has played in any format so far. He averages over 40 and has an incredible strike rate of over 120 in ODIs. With the ball, he has taken 29 wickets an economy rate of just over 5.5.
