Shreyas Gopal is a bowling all-rounder who plays for Karnataka in the domestic circuit. He is a leg break bowler and has the ability to essay some cameos with the bat in hand. A proven performer in the domestic career, he has been a part of the Karnataka squad that has gone on to complete the treble (victories in Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare trophy and the Irani trophy) on two occasions.

Gopal had a top season with the Rajasthan Royals in 2018 as he went on to pick 11 wickets from 11 matches at an economy of 7.61. With a positive show in the 2018 edition, Gopal was pipped to have a good season yet again in 2019.

He did not dissappoint and bettered his 2018 record as he scalped 20 wickets from just 14 matches, including the big wickets of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in both the encounters between the Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

With Gopal expressing his excellent control with the ball in hand, his all-round show could see him making his national team debut very soon.
