The Proteas have been struggling in limited overs and have had very less to cherish in colored clothing recently. A 5-1 hammering at home by India speaks a lot about a team once considered invincible at home. Kagiso Rabada though remains one of the bright spots in the team.

Rabada is young, fast, aggressive and probably everything that a fast bowler should be. He is often compared to legendary fast bowler Dale Steyn which in itself is no mean feat. 95 wickets in 59 games, makes him a terrific bowler in 50-over cricket.

Their batting might be struggling but a bowling line up comprising the likes of Rabada, Dale Steyn and Imran Tahir can wreak havoc on most days. With AB de Villiers retired, South Africa would pin their hopes on their star bowler to get them anywhere close to the title.
