Respawn Entertainment's latest Battle Royale entry Apex Legends has crossed over 25 million players in the first week. Apex Legends is the debut title from Respawn Entertainment in the Battle Royale genre or mod. In a recent investors call the acting CEO of EA, Andrew Wilson quoted:-

As I said earlier, we are looking at how to take the game to mobile and cross-play over time, and I also expect that this game will have tremendous value in Asia, and we’re in conversations about that.

Battle Royale games like Fortnite Battle Royale Mobile and PlayerUnknown's Battleground Mobile has already proven the true potential of the mobile device. Even big games like Call of Duty Blackout are already on their way to the Mobile platform. The Mobile platform whether it is android or iOS has become a lucrative market, even big companies have started paying attention to the platform.

EA as a corporation has always sought for profit, we can see in Andrew's quote in the investors call. He quoted that Apex Legends will hold tremendous value in Asia. Which can be said as a reference to PlayerUnknown's Battleground Mobile. Most of the online player's count of PUBG mobile consists of Asians, which has also brought a huge profit to the companies.

EA and Respawn Entertainment are working on Apex Legends, looking ways to bring the critically acclaimed Battle Royale which took the market by surprise on the mobile platform. The mobile version of apex legends will also support cross-play which we have already seen earlier in Fortnite Battle Royale. Apex Legends Mobile will be released in the coming months, most probably the at the end of summer.

So, far we can say that Apex Legends mobile will be released on both the Android and iOS devices, as in the quote from Andrew we saw that he is especially targeting the Asian audience. Asian audience uses more android devices than that of iOS, which gives us hint about the release of the game in both devices or platforms.
