The latest game to draw the attention of gamers, Apex Legends, is undoubtedly a massive success. In a week, it's already toppled the top two games on Twitch, currently holding viewers more than both League of Legends and Fortnite combined.

Today, Respawn Entertainment's Vince Zampella revealed that the game had a fantastic peak concurrent players for its first weekend, topping out at 2 million, and managed to already bring in over a quarter of a billion players!

Apex Legends continues to impress players, too, as even the harshest of critics can't get enough of the gameplay.

For fans of the game who are already looking for the competitive side of the game, Zampella also revealed Twitch Rivals Apex Legends Challenge.

According to Zampella, the Twitch sponsored event will take place on Tuesday, February 12th and next Tuesday, February 19th, featuring 48 of the best and biggest Twitch streamers.
