Its been a few weeks since the launch of the instant hit battle royale title "Apex Legends" from Respawn Studios.

The game made its debut on February 4, 2019, with a worldwide release on all the major platforms like PS4/Xbox One and PC.

The Free to play title Apex Legends gained an online player count of 2.4 million in just 24 hours of the initial release.

It's been only four days since the game launched and the developers have already announced a major tournament for the game.

Apex Legends first official tournament is called "Twitch Rivals Apex Legends Challenge". The tournament will take place on February 12, 2019, and February 18, 2019.

The Twitch rivals Apex Legends challenge tournament comprises a prize pool of $200000. Twitch has confirmed that a total of 48 streamers will be taking part in the tournament.

You will be able to see some of your favorite twitch streamers taking part in Twitch rivals Apex Legends challenge. Streamers like Shroud, Doc DisRespect, TSM Myth and many other will take part.

The tournament will feature a total of 16 squads with three members in each squad. Streamers will be representing their respective regions. In terms of the matches and points:- Each team will get five points if they win a match.

While the kills with also carry separate points which is 1 point of 1 kill. As usual, the top teams will only be able to grab the insane prize money of $200000.

Apex Legends tournament shows us that the game is taking its turn towards Esports. There are already ample amount of games which are developed and advertised through its Esports tournament.
