Apex Legends, developed by Respawn Entertainment, is the latest entrant into the Battle Royale genre, and in a very short time, the game has managed to carve out a niche for itself. Within the first month itself, the title managed to break the records set by the hugely popular Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Despite still operating in the Battle Royale genre, Apex Legends brings with itself a set of unique features that allow it to offer subtle changes, differentiating it from the competition. Some of those features include the ability to revive yourself or respawn dead teammates to bring your squad back up to full strength.

The entire method to revive dead teammates is outlined below. However, the process is easier said than done as it still requires an astronomical amount of work to be done by the members of a team to revive their buddy.

# Secure the tag of the downed teammate

Your downed teammate drops a tag, which you should collect as soon as possible. Waiting for a while will expire the tag, leaving you with no options to revive your buddy. It would be wise to even grab the gear of your dead buddy as it could prove useful later.

# Find a Respawn Beacon

Once you collect the tag, find a Respawn Beacon, which is ideally found in open spaces. Then, head towards the beacon and interact with it for a couple of moments. If done correctly, your teammate will be dropped next to you via a dropship.

# Protect your teammate

Protecting your recently revived teammate is the most important thing as your buddy will respawn without any weapons and gear. You could give the gear that you looted earlier to ensure that your buddy gets back into the fight as quickly as possible.

Avoid asking your teammate to loot for more gear, as during late game scenarios, with the vast open spaces, the strategy could turn out to be a failure more often than not.

Apex Legends is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The developers of the game even announced future ports for Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS platforms.
