The new Clan Notice Board feature aims to make finding clans easier and more organized. Clan leaders and co-leaders will be responsible for managing the notice board, which can be customized with images and descriptions. Players can use the regular Clan description or create a custom one for the notice board.

Clan details like activity levels and member status will automatically influence how the notice board is presented to players. Leaders can customize their recruitment requirements, such as Trophy or Town Hall levels, to ensure they attract the right members. Once the setup is complete, the notice board can be published and remain active for 24 hours.

There is a small cost of 10,000 gold to publish the notice board, but this can be freely edited and re-published if the clan becomes full or requires language changes. Players looking for a clan can manually search using the Clan tag or browse through available notice boards by adjusting their parameters.

Loot changes introduced in the Clash of Clans September 2024 update

The update introduces significant changes to the loot system, which are aimed at providing players with more rewards for engaging in battles. Dark Elixir rewards will see a boost in the League Bonus, extending all the way up to Legends League. Players in lower leagues, such as Silver, will now gain Dark Elixir, while previously it started in Crystal League, implying an additional 380 Dark Elixir for each League Bonus.

However, the update also increases the amount of loot that can be lost during a defense. The percentage of loot taken from storages now ranges from 20% at lower Town Hall levels to 10% at higher levels, with Dark Elixir losses being slightly less. The cap on loot losses has also been raised significantly.

For instance, at Town Hall 16, the cap was previously 700,000 gold, but it will now exceed 1.6 million. This change is likely to benefit active players who can farm more loot but will pose a challenge for seasoned players who might lose more resources on defense.

The upcoming Clash of Clans September 2024 update will bring adjustments to the recently introduced Hard Mode. The HP and damage of heroes in this mode are now reduced by only 5%, compared to the previous reductions of 10% and 15%. Additionally, Hero Equipment will now be capped at certain levels: 15 for common pieces of equipment and 21 for epic ones.

The update will bring several quality-of-life improvements. These include minor adjustments such as progress tracking for the Practice and Single Player maps and a popup before signing up for the Legends League. The most notable improvement is the addition of a Tactical Overview when scouting in war or editing village layouts, allowing players to see the radius of defenses more strategically.
