Devsisters is set to release a new cookie Stormbringer in its Cookie Run Kingdom April 24 update, along with Sublime Cake Tower, a new skill element, Cookie Alliance, and more. These features were unveiled in the in-game notice section and the game's discord server. As it looks, they will definitely uplift players' gaming experience.

1) Strombringer cookie
The Cookie Run Kingdom April 24 update will introduce Stormbringer Cookie, a charge cookie that uses the Lightning Blitzstorm skill.
She gets supercharged when her critical hit percentage crosses a certain amount at the beginning of a battle. In such instances, she delivers Supercharge buffs to her Electricity-type allies.
Once supercharged, she activates her Chain Lightning skill after inflicting a certain number of hits. This skill allows her to swing her Heaven Splitters and deal lethal Zap damage to her targets. Moreover, when her allies use Electricity-type damage, it triggers Stormbringer's aura and activates Stormbringer's Punishment skill.
Stormbringer cookies' Punishment inflicts lethal overcurrent damage to enemies. Furthermore, if the enemies are inflicted with Zap, they lose extra HP and their status changes to overcurrent. Note that Stormbringer's aura gets reset when you activate her Punishment.
2) Sublime Cake Tower: Decadent Choco Cake Tower update
Sublime Cake consists of two towers: Decadent Choco Cake Tower and Strawberry Cake Tower. Upon finishing World Exploration and Crispia stages 4-12, you can unlock the Choco Cake Tower.
The Decadent Choco Cake Tower is ruled by dangerous bosses, and defeating them requires a decent strategic approach. In this regard, using recommended Cookies in specific stages is strongly advised.
The developer will release more information about the Strawberry Cake Tower in the next update.
3) New skill element
All Cookies skilled with causing Zap damage have now been classified as Electric-type. These are:

4) Cookie alliance
The Cookie Run Kingdom April 24 update will introduce a new artifact called Striking Lightning. This item can enhance Cookies' Electricity-type skills and is added to the Cookie Alliance.

To unlock the new cookie, check out the Lightning Bold Legendary Gacha, which has a higher chance of pulling out the cookie. Moreover, gather Lightning Bolts from events and the shop to increase this probability.
Upon crossing 250 legendary gacha pulls, you can get a guaranteed Stormbringer Cookie. Also, depending on the number of pulls you perform, you can get Lightning Bolts and Stormbringer's Soulstones. Note that the unused Lightning Bolts will be converted into Coins when the Legendary Gacha is over.
