Far Cry New Dawn

Far Cry New Dawn, the standalone sequel to Far Cry 5, is going to be released tomorrow worldwide for all the major platforms. While I got to play the game before its release, I want to share some of the things that you should know about Far Cry New Dawn before playing the game.

Always scavenge your surroundings

Far Cry New Dawn offers a great variety of raw materials and stuffs to be scavenged. In the early game you should always look around your surrounding for raw materials. Doing this will help you in crafting new weapons, upgrades and more.

Always Look Out For Collectibles and Lore

The world of Far Cry New Dawn is rewarding in its own sense. Far Cry rewards you in a way in which no such Ubisoft game has ever done. It's full with lore and backstory, along with other collectibles. Look out for letters and other collectible stuff early in the game and learn about the lore behind everything.

Always Loot Enemies After Killing Them

In Far Cry New Dawn's early stages you should always go for the old methods of collecting ammo, money and other items. Yup, I am talking about looting the bodies of your enemies, which will reward you ammo, materials and more, which are a must in the early game.

Looting Enemy Weapons

Like other Far Cry games, Far Cry New Dawn enemies will also provide you a wide variety of weapons which can be picked up after killing them. Always look out for the dropped weapons and select your favorite ones which suite your gameplay.

Enjoy The Scenery!

Far Cry New Dawn is set in post apocalyptic version of Hope County. In my 5 hours of Far Cry New Dawn's early gameplay, I found some of the highlighted locations of Hope County.

There are many sign boards and other things which were there in Far Cry 5 and are present in Far Cry New Dawn, though the nuclear destruction has sure changed their look. In the starting sequence you will find a board written "Falls End" pointing in the direction of your objective. It feels nostalgic to revisit those places, so be sure to don't rush and enjoy the beautiful and vivid world of Far Cry New Dawn.
