He had a great season...will he have a bigger upgrade?

These players had their ratings jumping!

Last season saw the meteoric rise of many youngsters from some of the top leagues in Europe. While some of them were always touted to scale great heights, some others were relatively new to the stardom. Players like Kylian Mbappe, Thomas Lemar and Christian Pulisic got the highest upgrade in the latest edition of FIFA as a result of their exciting performances. Here we take a look at five players with the biggest upgrades in the newly released FIFA 18. Let's check it out!

5) Gianluigi Donnarumma (82)

The most sought after goalkeeper!

In the past two years, Gianluigi Donnarumma has developed himself into a superstar at Milan. Due to his commanding performances in goal for the Serie A giants, EA Sports have also gifted him with a huge 6 point upgrade from 76 to 82 on his overall rating. The 18-year- old was able to keep 12 clean sheets in 38 matches for the Rossonieri and that seemed to have played a huge role in the huge upgrade. A combination of impressive diving and reflex stats to go with his enormous height makes him one of the most sought after goal-keepers in FIFA 18.

Despite Mino Raiola's best efforts to lure him away from Italy, it seems as if Milan have finally managed to convince their star man to stay for another year.

4) Naby Keïta (83)

Naby Keïta became a household name in Europe after he had a great season with RB Leipzig last year. In 31 Bundesliga appearances in 2016/17, he managed to score 8 goals while also contributing 7 assists to his teammates. Naby Keïta has already shown that he is worthy of all this attention he is getting and he has also been rewarded with a massive 8 point upgrade to his rating from 75 to 83 in the latest edition of FIFA.

It didn't take too long for Jurgen Klopp to notice the Guinea international's abilities and Keïta will join the Reds next summer after the clubs reached an agreement in the recently concluded transfer window. Liverpool is getting someone really special next year!

3) Christian Pulisic (78)

American Wonderkid!

Dortmund are known for producing young and exciting talents and here they seemed to have unearthed yet another gem of a player. Still only 19, Pulisic is considered to be his country's brightest prospect and boasts a lot of potential to live up to it. In his 42 competitive appearances, Pulisic tallied five goals and 12 assists. He appeared in each of BVB’s 10 Champions League contests, starting six, and helped his club top a group that included finalist Real Madrid and Sporting CP.

At the Bernabeu, he came off the bench and played a role in a late equalizer. It was his goal against Benfica in the round of 16 that put Dortmund in position to reach the quarterfinals. Pulisic has seen his FIFA rating meteorically rise from a meager 69 to a respectable 78! His pace attribute makes him too hot to handle for most defenders in the top leagues!

2) Davinson Sánchez (81)

The Powerhouse!

Tottenham's newest signing is a tough-tackling centre back with a passing accuracy better than every Premier League defender bar John Stones! He did this on a weekly basis at Ajax last season, due to which he has been given a hefty 10 point upgrade from 71 to 81! The Colombian's work rate is hard to overlook and he is considered to be one of the best young defenders in the premier league currently.

Sanchez made 31 appearances for Ajax last season and also played a part in their 2-0 loss to Manchester United in the Europa league final. The 21-year-old is also a threat from set-pieces and managed to score 6 goals for his club last season.

Rightfully so, Mbappe has seen the highest upgrade in the game with a mind boggling 12 point upgrade from his 71 rating last year to 83 this season.
