How to find the Rat King artifact in Stalker 2

The Rat King artifact in Stalker 2 can be obtained in several locations throughout the Zone. But the best method — that is guaranteed to get you this item — is by an NPC called Vova Amalgam. This particular artifact in Stalker 2 can be a great help during the early game sections as it offers bleeding and electrical damage resistance with low radiation side effects.

Where to find Vova Amalgam and the Rat King artifact in Stalker 2

Head to the Garbage region of the Zone and go to the Electric Field north of the Detention Center. Here you will find Vova Amalgam stranded inside a field full of electric anomalies, shouting for your help. Your objective will be to lead him out of danger to a safer place.

To rescue him, equip the bolt and throw it at the electrical anomalies in Stalker 2 to disable them for a while. Slowly progress through the dangerous zone till you come across Vova Amalgam who will be standing atop a few broken planks. Talk to him and you will get the option to help him.

Use the bolts again to safely lead Vova Amalgam out of the electrical field. Keep in mind that he can easily die even if he takes slight damage from the anomalies. Once you are out, talk to him and select the option, "How about a Reward?" He will happily hand you the Rat King Artifact in Stalker 2.

Besides Vova Amalgam, you can find this particular artifact in areas with electric anomalies. You can use your scanner to find such locations. This is a common artifact and you will eventually find one on your expedition in the Zone.
