How to start Lies of P Overture DLC

Lies of P Overture DLC was shadow-dropped during the Summer Game Fest 2025, and this update is packed with fresh content and continues the twisted journey in the world of Krat. There's a brand new storyline, fresh locations, and more unique enemies to fight against. The DLC is available for $29.99 which is quite a fair price.

How to access the Lies of P Overture DLC

To begin playing the Overture DLC, you must reach Chapter 9 in the main game and repair the Hotel Stargazer. This means players who already own the main game but haven't started the campaign yet will not get access to the DLC immediately.

Once you’ve met the abovementioned requirement, a new area called the Forgotten Time will unlock, which signals that the Overture storyline is now ready to play. This is an entry point to the new content.

Along with access to the Forgotten Time, you’ll also find a key item called Star’s Chrysalis, which guides you towards all the objectives in the game.

Apart from the expanded storyline, this DLC also introduced a Boss Rematch system. This allows you to challenge a previously defeated boss through two fresh game modes: Battle Memories and Death Match. However, these game modes are only available after you finish the main game and will be accessible through Hotel Stargazer.

Additionally, the game now also has a difficulty setting that you can tweak from the settings. The overall difficulty of the game from the fourth playthrough has been increased.
