Hitman World of Assassination has added an iconic James Bond villain to its rogues' gallery. However, players only have a limited amount of time to hunt him down. Furthermore, they only get one chance at completing the mission. Those who do go against the villain will also get a reward in developer IO Interactive's next title, 007 First Light.
This new addition to Hitman's list of Elusive Targets is Mads Mikkelsen as LeChiffre.

Casino Royale is considered by many as one of the best James Bond movies. The introduction to Daniel Craig's rendition of the iconic MI6 agent was critically acclaimed for its relatively grounded nature, intense atmosphere, and colder take on the character. A major highlight of the film was also Mads Mikkelsen's performance as the cold and ruthless LeChiffre.
The iconic James Bond villain is appearing as an Elusive Target in Hitman World of Assassination, but only from June 6 to July 6, 2025. Furthermore, Mads Mikkelsen will be voicing the character in the game.
"Elusive Targets" are key people that Agent 47 needs to assassinate. These replace the regular targets on the campaign maps. However, there is a catch. You only get one chance at eliminating them. You can restart the mission if you haven't completed any objectives. However, regardless of failing or succeeding in the mission, you won't get the chance to play against them again. This provides an engaging experience to players, throwing a unique twist on otherwise familiar gameplay loops of the campaign missions.
To add to their special status, Elusive Targets don't show up on the map or in the Instinct mode. Some starting points in the mission will be blocked. There are also some revisions to different areas of the map, like changes in guard placements. Thus, you must create plans on the fly and adapt to the situation. LeChiffre didn't go down easily in Casino Royale, expect the same in Hitman World of Assassination.
