Professional boxer and prominent internet personality Olajide "JJ," better known as "KSI," has spoken out about his relationship with YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed." On May 18, 2024, JJ posted a video titled, ANSWERING YOUR ASSUMPTIONS (UPDATE), to his alternate YouTube channel, JJ Olatunji.

At one point, the Briton responded to X user @CB_Editz06's tweet, in which they believed that KSI "dislikes" IShowSpeed. Explaining their sentiments, the netizen wrote:

"KSI dislikes Speed and was happy seeing him get RKO by Randy Orton."

JJ expressed his delight at IShowSpeed getting "smashed" and "kicked" by Randy Orton during his appearance at WWE WrestleMania XL. He then spoke about his relationship with IShowSpeed, calling it "funny." The 30-year-old claimed that he "doesn't hate" the Ohio native and also "doesn't love" him.

He said:

"That was, bro, phenomenal. I loved it. Him getting smashed on the announcement table... him getting kicked, the way he got kicked and dashed - phenomenal! Me and Speed have a funny relationship, isn't it? Like, I don't hate him, but I don't love him."

According to the Watford, Hertfordshire native, IShowSpeed was like his "younger brother." He added:

"He's like my younger brother that I want to f**king slap."

"I don't think I'll be the first to leave" - KSI responds to speculations about his departure from Sidemen

At the 11-minute mark of the YouTube video mentioned above, JJ responded to X user @Aboodi_FPL's tweet, speculating that he would leave Sidemen because "there was no future in it." They explained:

"KSI will leave the Sidemen as he sees that there is no future in it, with everyone getting married/having kids."

In response, the professional boxer stated that he would not be the first member to leave Sidemen:

"I don't think I'll be the first to leave... if I'm being honest. I'll leave it at that. No, oh no! What have I done? You know, I'll leave it at that."

This is not the first time a discussion about a Sidemen member leaving the organization has come up. During a podcast on July 14, 2023, Simon "Miniminter" predicted that either JJ, Ethan "Behzinga," or Vikram "Vikkstar123" would be the first to leave the collective.

He said:

"It changes for me. It's between three people. Four people! I think me, you (TBJZL), and Josh - we're locked in for life. I think you (Vikkstar123) might leave because you have a pack. You love going to, like, Australia and see there. (Miniminter points at JJ) You're KSI. So, you might just be like, 'Why the f**k do I hang out with...'"

Miniminter continued:

"Ethan has specifically said, 'If I had $10 mill, I would not be here.'"

A few days ago (on May 11, 2024), KSI reacted to IShowSpeed surpassing 24 million subscribers on YouTube and jokingly said that the 19-year-old streamer "didn't beat" him.
