IRL streaming has become quite popular on websites such as Kick and Twitch. Unlike more conventional modes of content creation, these broadcasts allow streamers to live vlog their day-to-day life to fans.

ShakoMako had been IRL streaming her recent adventures in Sri Lanka when the incident with the elephant occurred. Suring the broadcast, she was walking down a road near or inside an elephant enclosure when she spotted one of the beasts roaming around and alerted her audience:

"Do you not see it?"

After watching it for a while, ShakoMako realized that the elephant had started charging at her, so she quickly turned around and hopped over a fence with her camera and equipment in hand.

ShakoMako then sat down and looked back at the creature, which was now on the opposite side of the barrier. She said:

"F*ck, f*ck! F*ck my life, f*ck."

The Kick streamer managed to fix the camera position and stated that the elephant had tried to kill her:

"F*ck, he wanted to kill me!"

While ShakoMako appears to have escaped without any harm, many of her viewers urged her to get first aid for any cuts or bruises she might have suffered while hopping over the fence.
