Twitch star Zack "Asmongold" spent some time talking about Twitch's new Ad Incentive Program on October 16.

Zack wanted to see how much potential revenue he could get from running advertisements on his primary channel and took to a Twitch channel statistics website called TwitchTracker to analyze his channel's performance.

Asmongold realized that his main account's stats had dipped significantly. Upon noticing that his concurrent viewership went down from 75,513 viewers to 0 viewers, the Austin, Texas-based content creator jokingly said:

"Yeah, I fell off. Yeah, this is a f***ing; this is a L+Ratio here."

At the 01:33 minute mark of his October 16 broadcast, the One True King (OTK) co-founder reacted to several well-known Twitch content creators sharing their estimated revenue from the updated Ad Incentive Program.

Zack compared his alternative channel's statistics to Twitch streamer AdmiralBahroo, and speculated that he could easily bag more than $100,000 per month after running six minutes of ads:

"So how much would they (Twitch) pay somebody like me? Well, I'm not going to lie, even on my second channel, I mean, clearly, I have 21,000 viewers. 7,000 times three (the streamer compares AdmiralBahroo's concurrent viewership to his), or let's say, a little bit less than that. I'd be getting paid over $100,000 a month. Just spam six minutes of ads. Over $100,000 a month."

Asmongold then wanted to analyze how much he could potentially make on his main Twitch channel. Following his initial observation, the streamer noticed several 0s in the performance tab of the TwitchTracker page.

He slyly grinned and commented:

"Okay, there we go. So average viewers was 75,000. Now it's 0! Yeah, we got ourselves a big old f***ing goose egg right now! However, let's say it was 75,000. I was not getting 75,000 average viewers then, it was during Lost Ark and the Johnny Depp thing. Let's say, 50,000-60,000. How about 50,000?"

Asmongold then jokingly suggested that he "fell off" and that the updated statistics for his main channel's performance was "L + Ratio."

After doing some calculations, the World of Warcraft gamer claimed that he could make roughly $300,000 a month from running ads on his main Twitch channel:

"$300,000 a month! That's a lot of money. You know what, I don't think ads that are that bad. I think ads are actually pretty good! Yeah, this ads situation is not that bad."

Fans react to the streamer's clip

The YouTube comments section featured more than 80 fan reactions, with one viewer speculating that the streamer would attract more than 200k viewers whenever he hosts a comeback stream on his main channel:
