MrBeast had his birthday yesterday, and to celebrate with his fans, the content creator has since started a birthday giveaway on Instagram for his followers with the promise of fans winning a total of $50,000. The world's biggest YouTuber is known for his extravagant video ideas and has given away thousands of dollars in cash, cars, and houses to people.

With a credible record of giving away huge amounts of money online, MrBeast's birthday giveaway has naturally attracted a lot of eyeballs, with many complying with the rules to win the cash prize of ten thousand dollars.

What are the rules of MrBeast's Birthday giveaway?

On May 7th, which was Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson's birthday, the popular YouTuber took to his Instagram to post a picture of himself holding a briefcase full of cash with more notes strewn around his vicinity. However, what has struck the fancy of people is what accompanied the picture.

In the caption to the post, Jimmy explained that to celebrate his birthday, he would be giving away $50,000 to five lucky winners of the giveaway. Meaning five people who participate in the competition stand to win $10,000 each. Quite a hefty sum of money from any accord. And the rules are also simple. To enter the birthday giveaway, Instagram users must just share the post to their story and tag a friend in the comments.

Suffice it to say that the gimmick has worked, with the post being shared by people worldwide in the hopes of winning ten thousand dollars. As the third-time creator of the year winner, his post naturally went immediately viral and has over 19 million likes as of this writing.

Moreover, MrBeast has assured his fans that he will pick the five winners within 72 hours, meaning by May 10, 2023. As an online celebrity, his giveaways have been the subject of much contention in the past, with many using his brand to perpetrate scams.

To allay their fears, the YouTuber has also promised to share proof, saying:

"Also, if you don’t follow me I can’t dm you the money if you win. Winners will be picked in 72 hours, will show proof!"
