Zenless Zone Zero 2.1 drip marketing reveals Alice

HoYoverse has conducted a drip marketing campaign to reveal upcoming Zenless Zone Zero characters like Alice Thymefield. She was first showcased in the Season 2 preview, alongside Yuzuha, another member of her faction who will also become playable in version 2.1. The official announcement further sheds light on her element and specialty.

The Zenless Zone Zero 2.1 drip marketing campaign confirms Alice as an upcoming playable agent. She is a member of the Spook Shack faction, a new organization players will come across in the Waifei Peninsula. Members of the faction seemingly trade mystical relics that combat demons. Proxies will hopefully learn more about them once Alice and Yuzuha arrive as playable entities.

It seems the former is a Thymefield descendant with a scholarly background. Yuzuha is certainly fond of Alice and was expressive about it:

“I used to think nobility’s kindness is due to excessive naivety of having so much Dennies, but you’re different… Your kindness is innate, and well, so is your innocence.”

An NPC named Damian Blackwood said the following about Alice and her noble family:

“No matter how unremarkable an ore might be, slap a ‘Porcelume’ label on it and suddenly it’s worth a fortune. Isn’t that exactly how these so-called noble-families operate too?”

Alice's character type in ZZZ

Alice's rarity as a playable character is yet to be made public. However, we do know her element and fighting style from the official announcement:

When could Alice release in ZZZ?

Alice is set to debut in version 2.1, given that the drip marketing campaign was conducted for the same patch. The version is expected to be released around July 16, 2025, following the six-week patch cycle and the current banner schedule. Her banner will likely be featured in the second phase of the update, based on the drip marketing order.
