The Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Asia-Pacific RMR event will kick off on November 11, 2024, and the Counter-Strike 2 community is beyond excited. This high-tier qualifier event will allow two of the best teams from the Asia and Pacific regions to take part in the Major event, which will be hosted in Shanghai, China from November 30, 2024, to December 15, 2024.

Format

The opening matches will be best-of-one (Bo1) with all teams starting from the Upper Brackets. The event follows a double elimination format with teams getting a second chance to survive even after losing the early matches and entering the Lower Brackets.

Once the six teams (four from the Upper Brackets and two from the Lower Brackets) are advanced to the RMR Playoffs, they will play in a best-of-three (Bo3) format to determine the three teams going to Shanghai.
